Co-Founder and CEO
Peter, and his brother Matthew, founded SherWeb in 1998 strongly believing the Internet would play a key role in how businesses and professionals communicate. They have been able to grow SherWeb from a small basement operation to a market leader with thousands of customers in over 80 countries. The company's dotcom survival is a testimony to their avant-garde spirit and willingness to break boundaries.
Born in a family of successful entrepreneurs, Peter has been involved in the information technology industry for over a decade. He leverages his knowledge and insight of the industry, be it technical or business, on a daily basis by making SherWeb stand out in a highly-competitive field.
Co-Founder and President
Matthew co-founded SherWeb with his brother Peter in 1998. Over a decade later, he still sees the Internet as a revolutionizing medium that will replace traditional enterprise software technology with on-demand software offered as a service. Matthew provides the dynamism and vision that has helped position SherWeb as a market leader in both Web hosting and Hosted Exchange. He holds a law degree and an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke.
Vice President, Operations
Jean joined SherWeb in 2000 and has played a major role in the growth of the company since. He oversees all information technology and support services. He is a result oriented individual with vast knowledge and expertise in working with both Microsoft and Linux environments. Jean holds an electrical engineering degree from the Cegep of Sherbrooke and is a Microsoft-certified professional.
Vice President, Product Development
Since 2008, Marc-André has been responsible for Sherweb's research and development. Using all the latest technologies and exploiting the Web's endless possibilities to the maximum, his team is in charge of the development of future generations of intelligent software for SherWeb. Before joining SherWeb, Marc-André has been vice president and cofounder of an international software conception firm specialized in commercial real estate. He holds a bachelor degree in computer engineering from the University of Sherbrooke.
Vice-president, Sales & Marketing
Eric has been gaining experience in the commercialization of new technologies for the past nearly 20 years. As VP at Intuit (10 years), CEO and cofounder of Dolmen Software, and EVP of Dunin Technologie, he has forged and signed over fifty strategic and business alliances, mostly with Fortune-500 companies. Moreover he has commercialized successfully over 100 different products. Recipient of numerous awards, Eric possesses a diploma from the Royal Military College of Canada and a bachelor's degree in Business Computing and in History from the University of Sherbrooke.
