Why should you upgrade to Office 2016? To collaborate better and be more productive.
You can still buy Office in the usual “one box, one installation” perpetual license at your retailer (up to $519 for Office 2016 Professional). However, it is also available in a Software-as-a-Service model (Office Apps). One license gives you the right to install Office apps on 5 PCs, 5 Macs and 5 mobile devices. Subscription fees start at less than $10 per seat per month. Office Apps are available in an online mode, using a web browser, when you cannot install them locally.
With Office Apps, there’s no upfront investment and you’re guaranteed to always have access to the latest version.
