Is your business currently using Office 365? If so, you’re in good company. Recent statistics show that 4 out of 5 Fortune 500 companies have signed up for Microsoft’s most popular product. But just because Office 365 is offered by Microsoft, it doesn’t mean you have to rely on them to provide your business with all the services it needs. In fact, you might be surprised to learn that you can get a bigger bang for your buck by transferring your Office 365 licenses and subscription to another cloud provider like Sherweb.

Why bother, you ask? There are plenty of reasons, such as our wide variety of cloud services, our easy-to-use customer portal and more. But when it comes right down to it, many companies choose Sherweb for its technical support. We offer one of the best technical support programs in the industry. And it’s free.

Sherweb makes Office 365 easy so you can focus on your business!

Transfer done in less than 10 minutes

We also have a multi-channel feature that allows you to transfer your subscriptions to Office 365 in less than 10 minutes. The operation is completely seamless and there’s no technical migration required. Best of all, your business won’t experience any downtime during the transfer process. Follow these 4 easy steps to transfer your Office 365 subscriptions to Sherweb.

If you have a monthly subscription with Microsoft

Step 1: Contact Sherweb

Give us a call (1.855.780.0955) or contact us by chat. Our team will talk to you about the Office 365 plans we offer and help you find one that fits your needs. You’ll be assigned an Account Manager who will put you in contact with our migration team to plan the transfer.

Our migration technician will give you complete details about the migration: what will happen, when it will happen and what we’ll be migrating. It might sound like a lot, but as we mentioned earlier, this process is completely seamless for you and your users.

Step 2: Turn off Auto-Renew

Office 365 for Business includes an auto-renew option that Microsoft has enabled by default. This means that your subscription will be automatically renewed each month on the day you subscribed. Before you switch to Office 365 with Sherweb, you want to make sure you disable this option so you don’t have to pay for something you’re no longer using.

To turn off the auto renew, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Office 365 tenant with a Global Admin account.
  2. Go to the Admin Center.
  3. Click on the Subscription page under Billing>Subscriptions.
  4. Switch the toggle to Off.*

Step 3: Switch to Office 365 with Sherweb

Exactly one day before your Microsoft subscription expires, you’ll experience the simplest email migration of your life thanks to Sherweb’s multi-channel process.

Your migration technician will guide you through this simple operation until everything is complete. If you’re interested in learning more about our migration process, read this.

As you already know, Office 365 can help your employees work together in new and more efficient ways. And if you transfer your licenses and subscription to Sherweb, there are even more advantages.

  • We offer free customer support 24/7/365 in both English and French for all issues by phone, email or chat. Calls are answered within 40 seconds and support tickets are resolved in one business day. For all other support issues, you are left to your own devices.
  • Sherweb offers a one-stop shop for all your IT solutions. We have a full range of cloud services, including Performance cloud servers, cloud databases, email encryption, online backup and more.
  • We have a single portal that allows you to easily manage and modify all your Sherweb services. Our control panel is designed to be simple enough for those with little to no IT experience, but powerful enough for seasoned pros to specify advanced configurations.
  • Because Sherweb is looking after all your IT needs, you can concentrate on growing your business!

If you make monthly payments on an annual subscription with Microsoft, follow the steps outlined above. However, you must remember to cancel your subscription**. To do so, you can call Microsoft or cancel online through the admin center. Then, follow Microsoft’s FAQ on how to cancel your subscription based on your profile and number of users.

* When auto renew is turned off, the subscription isn’t cancelled right away. It remains active until it expires.
**You can view the number of days until expiration on the subscription card. Charges for one month may apply for early cancellation fees.
