1. How Can I Purchase My Device Under the IP Phone as a Service Program?

2. What Do You Get with Each Cloud PBX + IPPaaS Plan?
Each Cloud PBX + IPPaaS plan includes:
- Your Cloud PBX services
- Your IP Phone Financing
- The SherWeb Care Hardware Protection Plan
3. For How Long Will I Be Paying for My IP Phone?
When you subscribe to a Cloud PBX + IPPaaS plan, your subscription fee includes a fixed monthly fee for your device. Under this plan, you agree to use Cloud PBX for a 24-month period.
At the end of the 24 months, the agreement will be automatically renewed, unless you give SherWeb 30 days notice. The renewal guarantees your device will still be covered by SherWeb Care Hardware Protection Plan.

5. What is the SherWeb Care Hardware Protection Plan?
This is a full end-to-end protection that includes the replacement (including shipping) of the device that is no longer covered by the warranty and accidentally damaged. The broken device will be replaced by the same model or a newer model that has the equivalent or superior set of features.
6. What Happens If My IP Phone Is Damaged?
If your IP Phone is damaged:
- You may return the defective equipment.
- The defective equipment will be replaced.
Note the warranty does not cover damages to the equipment caused by reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct, cosmetic damage not affecting the functionality; if the device is stolen, lost, or if it has been opened, serviced, modified or altered.
7. How Do I Make a Claim for a Damaged IP Phone?
Here is the process:
- Contact the SherWeb Support Team or your Account Manager.
- The VoIP Onboarding team proceeds with troubleshooting.
- If the IP Phone has to be replaced, SherWeb usually ships a replacement phone within 24 hours.
In some circumstances, the defective phone might have to be returned to the manufacturer. Ground shipping fees will be covered by SherWeb.
Extra fees will apply when a client requests Express Shipping.
8. How Do I Cancel My Subscription to Cloud PBX when I Have IP Phone as a Service?
If you decide to terminate your Cloud PBX + IPPaaS subscription before the end of the 24-month period, you’ll be required to pay a lump sum to keep the device. That sum is equivalent to the portion of the plan for the remaining months of your contract.
E.g.: If the IPPaaS portion of the plan is $5 and you leave after 12 months, you’ll have to pay 12 x $5 ($60).

9. Do Resellers Earn Commission for Selling Cloud PBX with IPPaaS?
No. You won’t get any commission with Cloud PBX + IPPaaS plans. Commissions only apply for prepaid hardware.
10. Can I Purchase an IP Phone Without the Cloud PBX Subscription?
No. It’s not possible.

Note that IP Phone as a Service is not a lease program. You own the IP Phone as soon as you receive it. Shipping fees apply on the first order. We pre-configure all phones prior to shipping, so all you need to do is plug and play.
