At the same time, MSPs also have a tremendous opportunity to transform their own businesses to adapt to future market needs and shifts.<\/p>\n<h3>Empowering remote work<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/partner\/back-to-the-office-m365\/\">future of office life<\/a> will probably never be what it was. Customers who before only needed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/productivity\/microsoft-365\/\" class=\"track-link\">Microsoft 365<\/a> licenses\u00a0now require virtualization, the ability to make calls through Teams and a CRM outside of spreadsheets on individual machines, among other needs.<\/p>\n<p>Providers themselves have an opportunity to specialize in remote work areas. Make room in your offering for services like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/cloud-server\/what-you-need-to-know-about-windows-365\/\">Windows 365<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/cloud-server\/introducing-azure-virtual-desktop\/\">Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)<\/a>, which enable secure remote working conditions. Redefine your cloud migration strategy with updated\u00a0benefits like enabling businesses to access <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/business-apps\/dynamics-365\/\" class=\"track-link\">Microsoft Dynamics<\/a> outside the physical office. Introduce customers to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/voip\/\" class=\"track-link\">VoIP\u00a0solutions<\/a> to streamline calling services for a dispersed workforce.<\/p>\n<p>In one form or another, hybrid work is here to stay and MSPs can be expected to be called upon to make\u00a0WFH happen for clients. Solutions that enable remote work will\u00a0presumably\u00a0become a staple in MSP offerings. Tech buyers will be looking to their providers to help them transition to whatever the new normal looks like for them. If providers aren\u2019t equipped to respond, those clients might well search\u00a0for different providers that are.<\/p>\n<h3>Fortifying security<\/h3>\n<p>The harsh reality of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/security\/security-risk-trends\/\">cybersecurity risk<\/a> is materializing for businesses of all sizes and sectors. Global\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketsandmarkets.com\/PressReleases\/managed-services.asp\">spending on managed services<\/a>\u00a0is forecasted to increase by over $100 billion between 2021 and 2026, driven in part by efforts to bolster security and mitigate risk. Here, too, the opportunities for both SMBs and technology providers are vast.<\/p>\n<p>Employees are connecting with company networks and\u00a0interacting with\u00a0data from devices and locations untold\u00a0more than ever before,\u00a0thereby expanding the potential attack surface for hackers.\u00a0Solutions such as endpoint protection, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/security\/protect-clients-where-theyre-most-vulnerable-email\/\">email security<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherweb.com\/blog\/security\/office-protect-alliance\/\">threat detection and response<\/a> are\u00a0now\u00a0tantamount to locking the office front door at the end of the\u00a0day and\u00a0are therefore\u00a0the\u00a0types of solutions recommended for bringing SMBs up to speed with modern cybersecurity.
