SherWeb Renames Its Award-Winning Hosted Exchange Bundles

Shift away from SkyOffice part of larger channel-centric strategy

SHERBROOKE, QC, October 7, 2014 — Cloud services provider SherWeb today announced that it is renaming its flagship Hosted Exchange bundles, formerly known as SkyOffice, to SherWeb Communication and Collaboration.

Earlier this year, SherWeb became the first and only hosting provider to offer the enterprise-grade bundles paired with standard 24/7 phone support for all accounts. The bundles include Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2013, Hosted SharePoint 2013, Hosted Lync 2013 and SherWeb Online Backup (also formerly known as SkyNox). This is SherWeb’s fourth generation of Exchange hosting.

The long-time cloud services provider says its new branding strategy is part of a larger effort to make its hosted services more accessible to the growing number of businesses and resellers eager to embrace the cloud.

“The cloud industry has matured tremendously since we first began in 1998, and so have customer and channel expectations,” says Donna Zamiska, Marketing Manager at SherWeb. “As our cloud offering grows over time, our product names will need to be more descriptive and most importantly, channel-friendly.”

According to SherWeb, the new branding strategy will also make it easier for partners to white-label its award-winning solutions. Since 2012, SherWeb’s channel network has grown to more than 4,000 partners in over 100 countries. SherWeb credits this success to its high partner margins, performance discounts, VIP support and free customer migration from all platforms. The company offers three choices of flexible partnership models: reseller, distributor and advisor. Partners can choose to white-label, co-brand or get paid to simply make referrals and let SherWeb take charge of the customer relationship.
