This month’s Dynamics 365 and Power Platform updates for our Dynamics partners are less about product changes and more about how Microsoft plans to work with you in FY27. New partner incentives, a reshaped go-to-market motion and a set of enablement resources all landed together, and they point in the same direction: Microsoft is putting its money behind partners who can build and run AI practices, not just sell licenses.
Here’s what to have on your radar and what each change means for you and your customers.
TLDR: Dates and program changes
Short on time? Here’s what’s time-sensitive this month.
Dates to watch
- Ongoing, quarterly: FY27 incentive engagements are measured against a 33% portfolio performance rate, tracked in quarterly milestones over the 12 months following each engagement. (Jump to section.)
Program changes
- New: FY27 Frontier Accelerate incentives for AI Business Solutions, built around three solution portfolios. (Jump to section.)
- Program shift: Microsoft’s FY27 go-to-market motion moves from product-led solution plays to customer-led Enterprise and SMB conversations. (Jump to section.)
- No change: The August price list won’t include a September preview for NCE license-based services, so no pricing changes are scheduled. (Jump to section.)
Microsoft partner program updates
What are the FY27 Frontier Accelerate partner incentives?
Microsoft has announced its FY27 Frontier Accelerate incentives for AI Business Solutions partners, and they’re built around three connected solution portfolios:
- Frontier Accelerate for Copilot
- Frontier Accelerate for Business Processes
- Frontier Accelerate for AI-Ready Productivity
The intent is to support customers across the full AI adoption path, from early readiness through implementation and into long-term value after the sale.
There’s a performance condition attached that’s worth understanding before you plan around these. Partners need to maintain a 33% portfolio performance rate, meaning a third of your completed engagements have to meet defined performance criteria. That criteria is a minimum growth in revenue or usage, measured at quarterly milestones over the 12 months following each engagement.
What this means for you:
- These incentives reward revenue and usage growth across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot and Productivity, and they cover both pre-sales validation and post-sales work like deployment, adoption, optimization and competitive replacement.
- They’re most relevant if you’re building an AI-led practice or helping customers modernize CRM, ERP, service and low-code processes.

Microsoft’s FY27 go-to-market motion shifts to customer-led conversations
Microsoft is moving its FY27 go-to-market approach away from product-centric solution plays and toward customer-centric Enterprise and SMB sales conversations, with the goal of getting customers to business outcomes faster.
Supporting that shift is Frontier Accelerate, a unified customer value framework that pulls together expertise, investments and skilling resources for customers adopting AI. It spans Copilot, Productivity, Azure, Business Process, Security and Marketplace.
What this means for you:
- You get a single activation framework instead of separate motions per product, which makes the benefits package easier to bring to a customer.
- The framework includes assessments, tools, training sessions and funding and savings plans you can put to work driving AI adoption with your end customers.

Pricing updates
No September preview in the August NCE price list
The August price list won’t include a September preview for NCE license-based services. This follows the same pattern as June, when no August preview was published.
What this means for you:
- No pricing changes are scheduled, so you can plan on current license-based pricing holding.
- Keep watching official CSP pricing communications rather than assuming future changes and use the quiet period to review renewal timelines and customer impact ahead of the next update.
