Thank you! Check your inbox for our monthly recap!

Like it or not, there’ll be a lot of empty conference halls and meeting rooms for the next few weeks. The COVID-19 virus has forced many big industry players like Microsoft, Dell Technologies, and Red Hat to replace their live events with virtual gatherings.

Even though you won’t be in the same room with your favorite industry experts and peers, there are several advantages to attending a virtual event. Think of the time and money you’ll save! You won’t have to worry about making travel arrangements and spending hours waiting in airports. You won’t have to find someone else to keep your business running while you’re away. And best of all, you’ll get a head start on putting your new knowledge to work!

Start your virtual learning with Sherweb. We’ve put together a series of seminars and events designed to bring resellers together to learn about new cloud solutions, network with each other, and get hands-on training. It’s all part of the Sherweb knowledge network. Here are a few examples:

Share best practices with Partner Connect

Feeling a bit disconnected working from home? We understand that. It’s why we launched Partner Connect, a monthly online meeting designed exclusively for Sherweb partners. We host the meeting, and you do the talking. It’s your time to meet, network, and exchange information with your fellow partners. To give everyone a chance to speak, we limit the number of participants to ten. We’ve only held a couple of sessions of Partner Connect so far, but topics have ranged from how to make the best decisions for your business to keeping remote workers motivated during this difficult period.

Stay up to date with virtual seminars

Industry conferences are always a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends and mingle with your peers. Well, if you can’t make it to the meeting room, we’ll bring the meeting to you. As part of our knowledge network, we’ll be creating a series of seminars for partners who want to focus on specific topics. These sessions can last up to three hours, and registration is open to all Sherweb partners. One of our first seminars will focus on data security during COVID-19. Sherweb’s security experts will join forces with Bitdefender to share the latest information about cybersecurity. Participants will also learn about Sherweb’s new security assessment tool.

Attend virtual workshops

Do you attend many industry workshops throughout the year? Well, you still can. Our Subject Matter Experts have put together a series of exclusive sessions to teach you the best strategies for sales, marketing, and building your cloud offers. These workshops are open to all resellers and include course materials and interactive training with the workshop animator. Depending on the subject, a workshop can be a one-time event, or it can run for several weeks. If you’re interested, MSP expert Karl Palachuk is offering a free six-week course for MSPs this summer. Participants will learn how to thrive during an economic downturn by building better offers and creating new sources for recurring revenue.

Don’t miss our webinars

And, we’ll still be offering plenty of webinars. We want to make sure that you stay up to date about our cloud solutions so you can keep building on your offer and grow your business. Each webinar features expert advice from our experts and special guests on topics such as data security, voice solutions, and Microsoft Teams. Registration is open to all, and each webinar includes a Q&A session.

Learn from home

Who says you have to go to a conference or trade show to keep your cloud business growing? We’ve just shown you how easy it is to learn about reselling the cloud from the comfort of your home office. It’s one of the benefits of being a member of Sherweb’s partner network. Not a member yet? Learn more about our partner network here. You’d be surprised by what you can achieve by working with the right cloud provider.
